HUMANSTRUATION

Humanstruation is an invitation to look at menstruation differently: not as something to be hidden, but as a natural process with its own aesthetic presence. Through artistic exploration, the work reclaims menstrual blood as a material and visual phenomenon, revealing beauty in what is often considered uncomfortable or taboo.

The title Humanstruation emphasizes two ideas: first, that menstruation is fundamentally human; and second, that it is not limited to women alone, as trans, non-binary, and other queer people can also experience menstruation. By making the invisible visible, the project encourages a shift in perception—from shame to recognition, from concealment to contemplation, and from stigma to acceptance.
