INTERWOV/MEN is a series about the transformative power of women standing beside one another.
For centuries, women have gathered in kitchens, around fires, in workshops, on doorsteps, in studios, and across generations. They have shared stories, knowledge, grief, courage, and hope. In these exchanges, something extraordinary happens: individual strength becomes collective strength.
This body of work explores the invisible threads that connect women to one another. The quiet understanding. The unspoken recognition. The ability to witness each other honestly and still choose support over competition, connection over isolation.
Each painting reflects the idea that we do not become ourselves alone. We are shaped through encounters, conversations, friendships, mentorships, and acts of care. We grow through being seen. Through being challenged. Through belonging.
SISTAHOOD is not about perfection or sameness. It is about difference held together by mutual respect. It is about women becoming more fully themselves because other women dared to stand beside them.
At its heart, the series asks a simple question:
What becomes possible when women stop proving themselves to one another and start building with one another?
The answer is visible everywhere: in resilience, in creativity, in healing, and in the generations that follow.
Because the strongest force is rarely the individual.
It is the bond.
