role breaking
This selection is drawn from one of my recent projects, which centers on the female experience in contemporary society. The figures have been fractured and reconstructed; their stitches serve as traces of healing, resilience, and the scars left behind. Color, pattern, and textile ornamentation are not merely decorative elements but integral parts of the figures' identities. They carry memories, cultural references, and personal histories, shaping each figure's presence and narrative. Through these layered surfaces, the works speak of vulnerability, endurance, and transformation. In showing these “weaknesses” openly, they get invincible, same as unforgettable and breaking the role they were given.
The way I see myself changes over time for the better.
if you can´t bear my past, you don’t have the privilege of seeing
my future.
